SB 3636 Nurse Staffing Improvement Act of 2020
This bill achieves three (3) things:
- Strengthens the voice of the direct-care registered nurse
- Strengthens the role of the nursing care committee
- Holds hospital accountable
Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
SB 3067/HB 1459
The NLC increases access to care while maintaining public protection in Illinois. Under the NLC, nurses can practice in other NLC states, without having to obtain additional licenses.
