NURSES4NURSES

We all know that nurses have solutions to address the issues in our health care systems and we also know that nurses have a unique understanding our their communities!  In 2018, with the support of then ANA-Illinois president, Dan Fraczkowski MS, RN-BC, ANA-Illinois became committed to sharing details about the campaigns of nurses from Illinois running for national, statewide, and local offices.  This practice continued in 2020  and we had several nurses who alerted us of their campaigns and were successful in getting elected. If you know other nurses seeking office, please have them reach out and contact us.  We are happy to publicize their campaigns on NURSES4NURSES

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  • Make a campaign contribution
  • Walk precincts
  • Attend fundraising events
  • Walk in summertime parades

If you know a nurse running for a local, or statewide office, please have them reach out to us.  We would be happy to spotlight them and send their information out to our advocates. Be sure to check out the video below of Congresswoman Lauren Underwood, RN courtesy of UIC College of Nursing.
